Fred Mutebi conducts workshops with students from underprivileged and struggling communities throughout Uganda. The mission is to educate the diverse segments of society by using the principles of creativity to encourage mutual understanding and constructive change for a positive future.
The workshops often combine students from different parts of Uganda, enabling students learn from each other. The goal is to curb discrimination along cultural lines, therefore creating unity in diversity. Various art methods are taught such as linocut printing, painting, drawing, and tie-dyeing.
The completed artwork is made available for sale to financially help the individual student and to fund the workshops.
